Continuing our Commitment to White City’s future
We are bringing forward improved plans for Block C at Westfield London to deliver 1,700 much-needed new homes for Hammersmith and Fulham.
We already have planning permission, but are proposing minor changes to:
1
Speed up the delivery of new homes
2
Increase the amount of public green space
3
Enable the delivery of genuinely affordable homes for local families
We are now re-engaging with the community to hear your thoughts
on these proposed changes.

Our Story so far
Since opening in 2008, we have been a committed, long-term partner in the regeneration of White City. We are proud to have invested over £177 million in local transport links and to have helped create 20,000 jobs for local people.
Following extensive community engagement between 2020 and 2022, we secured planning permission for the next phase of our masterplan, which is a new residential-led neighbourhood known as Block C.
Construction costs and building regulations have changed significantly since those plans were approved. To ensure we can deliver these much-needed new homes without further delay, we are proposing improvements to the approved design. These minor changes will simplify construction, improve the quality of the public spaces, create a simplified design and enable the delivery of more of the affordable homes to help house some of the 3,000 people on the Council’s housing waiting list.

£2.3bn overall investment in White City including the £600m centre expansion which opened in 2018.
